What are the dates for the reunion?
The reunion is planned for 27-Dec-2023 to 29-Dec-2003, with the required lunch and gala dinner planned for Thursday 28th December. The rest of the events are all optional. The detailed agenda is posted on this site on the Reunion Page as well.
Why do I need to pay the initial deposit of Rs 5000?
This is the advance deposit against your costs for attending the reunion. This is a non-refundable amount because we have to book venues and pay advances to the hotels and college. Also, all our negotiations are based on a certain headcount, therefore it is imperative all attendees pay this amount ASAP so that we can make timely decisions. Do note that this amount will be deducted from your final total amount based on the number of events you choose to attend.
If there is an emergency, can I request a refund of the deposit?
You can submit your request to the ROC. We can consider it on a case-to-case basis and might approve in very rare situations – please keep in mind, we do not encourage this, as this could have adverse effects on the bookings and individual costs for others.
Will the ROC make stay arrangements for me?
Yes if you have opted for this in your data submission: either hotel or hostel based on your preferences. We encourage you to make this choice early as hotels/hostels will be allocated on a first-asked first-served basis!
Where can I submit my reunion preferences? What is the link to the data collection form?
What is the total cost for attending the reunion?
It will vary based on your preferences. However, there will be a standard minimum cost for all Alumni. ROC will share the details in the RAAG (Reunion Alumni Attendees Group) WhatsApp group.
Are there any benefits for me to introduce a Sponsor for the event?
Yes, there is a sponsor incentive program for the alumni. It will be communicated on the RAAG group on WhatsApp.
How can I join the RAAG WhatsApp group?
You can send a request to any ROC member. Currently, we are allowing the people that marked a YES for attending the reunion in their data submission. If you want to attend the reunion, please mark the option accordingly in the Google doc.
Are we having a donation initiative for the college?
Yes, the details will be shared by the ROC. The ROC will only facilitate the process.
What happens if there is surplus money that we pay for expenses?
The ROC could either move the remaining funds to the donation account or consider refunds. This will be decided at a much later date.
What is the Sponsor initiative for?
The sponsor initiative is to find event sponsors to reduce the per-head costs and allow more people to join.
Would the sponsor money go towards the donations to the college?
No, the event sponsors are sponsoring the event and the money will go towards the expenses of the event. Donation is a separate initiative BY the ALUMNI.
However, the Alumni can choose to voluntarily contribute to the college donation fund any money saved in their individual costs due to sponsors.
I plan to come earlier than the planned reunion dates/I plan to stay back longer than the planned reunion dates. Will the hotel accommodation deal continue for me?
We have negotiated rates in Tuli Imperial for 2 days only – 27th Dec and 28th Dec. Anything beyond these dates will have to be done individually.
Does the hotel (Tuli Imperial) have an early check-in / late check-out facility available?
No, the hotel does not have an early check-in or late check-out facility.
